Feb. 2, 9pm Harbourfront Centre – Waleed Kush and The Freedom Live Ensemble (Toronto) Neil Brathwaite (saxophone), Alexander Brown (trumpet), Aaron Ferrara (Drums), Michael Shand (Keys), Waleed Abdulhamid (Bass, Percussion) The Concept of The Freedom Live Ensemble was put together in 1998 by Frank Francis as a Caliban Arts Theatre musical project. The band originally included David “Fingers” Williams on piano, who sadly departed a couple years ago.
