Lameck Williams (aka L. Dawg, The Lyrical King) is a Toronto-based rapper born in Zurich, Switzerland to his late Zimbabwean mother and his Congolese father.  He began his artistic life as a poet, writer, actor and athletic weedsmoker in Switzerland. When he moved to Toronto, he participated in the Underground breakdance scene where he learned to Freestyle and perform his own songs.  At 19 years old he released “Kamouflage Kollage” which has a very optimistic and youthful feel with an informed perspective on world affairs.    In 2010 Lameck earned his diploma in liberal arts & science, and an advanced diploma in Business Administration- Marketing at George Brown College.  In 2012 Lameck put out 2 albums: “Over Now” which has an Underground Flow to it, and  “Eclectic Soul Encounter“ produced primarily by Dutty Brucks, in the band Harbor Sharks, adding a more Reggae Dubstep rhythme to his machine gun, poetic type lyricism and and unique Freestyle Flow   He has performed at Afrofest, Manifesto, Style in Progress, Fringe Festival, and in colleges and universities across the GTA.
